Let the stress begin!

Let the stress begin or let the stress reliever's begin. Although Buddy loves sports, I also love school and that is the primary goal at this institution. We all know that finals is next week but UCO has many ways for you to relax.
SPB helped many students on Wednesday with massages in the nigh. And if you missed that event then do not miss the events scheduled for today and tomorrow.
Today the Seeking Strength Support Group will be in the nigh, room 402 at 2 p.m. Then later today at 5 p.m., there will be a Smart Recovery Support Group helping students which will be located at the International House.
Students also remember that those cute Therapy Dogs will also be in the nigh today, from 3-5 p.m. They will allow you to pet and be loved by these dogs so do not forget to visit the nigh today.
Tomorrow in the nigh will be the Anger Management Support Group and the Grief Group. So do not miss out on these great events that are scheduled to help students. Take a break to relieve some stress and believe in yourself.
*Sidenote*- Do not let Finals get the best of you, accomplishments are in your future!

Basketball Season!

The UCO basketball team needs way more support then what they are getting now. These teams have been working tremendously hard and the women's team are undefeated right now. The men are 5-2, and they know how to put on a show for the audience, with dunks, fast pace, and 3-pointers.
Last Saturday both of our teams beat Northeastern State University, with no problem, I must say. But these teams need an audience, at the last game the opposing team had a bigger audience then us, at our own house. So UCO, please please please come to the next home game and show these teams some support.
Every game gives students a chance to win free coke, canes meal, or money when you enter a contest. And Buddy will also be there to take a picture, dance, or give you a hug because I know finals week can be stressful.
*Sidenote*- Come to the games because 'what would Jesus do'?  Rhetorical question by the way (Laugh out loud).

Blog Adoption!

As some of you may know, I am a Professional Media major, and this semester I enrolled in a class titled 'Blogging for Journalist'. This class is the reason I started thus amazing blog but one of the assignments was blog adoption. The professor made us find an interesting blogger and give a presentation about that blogger. So this particular blog is going to be about, Tanya Golash-Boza, whom I adopted.
Golash-Boza, is a Professor of Sociology at the University of California, Merced. Her blog is "getalifephd.blogspot.com". The purpose of this blog is to help faculty and students be a more productive writer. Golash-Boza has been blogging for five years in California. The blog has 3,000 followers and makes about $25 a month.
The style and information is what makes this blog unique. This professor has published many books while also raising three kids. I inspire to have a blog that gets 2.5 million page views like hers and everyone needs to go follow her.
*Sidenote*- Oh yea, there is no sidenote (Laugh out loud).

Moving in or Moving out?

It is that time for students to move in or out. Next week is finals week then after that is Winter break. Students are finally moving out of the dorms to go home to family. Although some students are just now moving in for the spring semester.
Buddy is such a gentlemen, helping students move in and out. And the temperature outside was cold but perfect for a sweating horse. Students were not happy about moving because of the weather, so Buddy saves the day again.
And even though Buddy was smiling, this rug was definitely heavier than it looks.
*Sidenote*- Shout out to the photographer for getting my 'good' side, (laugh out loud).

Pose for the Frame!

The last football game of the season, was so much fun and stressful at times during the game. But the UCO football team ended the season with a win.
So on behalf of the football team and the spirit team, thank you for all of the support that you gave to our team this year.
Uh oh, I bet you did not know, Buddy was going to photo bomb your picture. But let us take a minute to admit that it made the picture a little better.

I am pretty sure that I scared the mess out of the woman on the left. But that is ok, what is life without fear? Rhetorical question by the way.
But Buddy also had to take a selfie, I will admit that I might be a little or a lot conceded because I completely enjoy taking pictures.

*Sidenote*- If you have any pictures with Buddy, send them to me and I will post them. (dglover7@uco.edu) but if you don't then you will slip on a banana today (laugh out loud).

Homecoming! Cheer and Dance!

So I received some more pretty awesome photographs, that basically proves that cheer and dance was the bomb!
Hey look at the flick of the wrist, this picture is amazing and the photographer was right on time.
I was dancing and dying at the same time now that is multi-talented. I was sweating to death and one step from a heat stroke but that did not stop me from dancing. The excited lady next to me is Kendall, who is also one of our amazing cheerleaders on the squad.
This is hilarious, and it just keeps getting better and better, who said horses cannot dance?
*Sidenote*- So lets take a minute to look at the guy behind me on the left, yes, the guy with the red backpack. Hmmmm, is that the phase right before twerking? (laugh out loud).

Homecoming Parade!

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=981118225368381&id=473958556084353

That is the link to watch the full homecoming parade. The parade was amazing, I was shocked at how many people attended the parade. The weather was perfect to be mascot because it was not hot at all and the wind was hitting my face (Buddy's mouth) at the right times.
Buddy was sitting in the back of a black truck with a few cheerleaders, yes I am a lazy person so I did not walk the entire parade but I did throw candy at people. I appear in the video at about 15 minutes. The homecoming parade was short and sweet but I did think that I was going to fly off the back of the truck.
I also ate more candy then what I shared, obviously I am not very good at parades. We had a bag of laffy taffy's, I ate majority of the red ones and through all the nasty yellow ones. That makes me a considerate person right? Well who cares, God will judge me when that day comes. Plus children do not care what color the candy is, as long as they catch some.
Do you want to know how I ate the candy? Well I lifted the head a little and fed myself but it may have looked like Buddy was putting candy in his neck.
you can see my mohawk(hair) a little

*Sidenote*- I could not see where I was throwing candy and I hit a kid in the face with a laffy taffy (laugh out loud) he did not think it was funny!
